The International Volunteer Travel Adventure Holiday program runs for a minimum of two weeks and includes 2 to 14 days of tours to places of interest including jungles, national parks and wildlife reserves where you will see wild animals including lions, elephants, rhinos, giraffes, leopards, cheaters, turtles, monkeys and hundreds of different species of birds. You can also climb mountains, tour cultural places, beaches, rainforests, etc. Often several versions of the Adventure Holiday program are provided in a country, covering different places, events and different regions of the country. The ?Best of the Country? program is normally the most extensive version of the Adventure Holiday program, including at least eight days of adventure tours and travel.
What Is Provided
In addition to regular amenities provided by other programs, such as airport pickup, communication, and coordination, the Adventure Holiday program provides accommodation in tented camps or economy hotels, often accommodation is shared and sometimes a sleeping bag is required; three local meals (including packed meals and vegetarian diet); in-country travel and tour costs; event and site gate fees.
A Combination of Programs
You can combine your Adventure Holiday program with other programs including, volunteer abroad, internships, Spanish Language Study Abroad, Wildlife programs, language and cultural experience programs, and the Survival Spanish Program.
