Best of Uruguay Adventure Holiday Tours and Safaris
The International Volunteer Travel Best of Uruguay Adventure expedition features 8 days of adventure tours combining the Uruguay Beach Resort Holiday and the Uruguay Ranch Country Adventure programs. From your arrival in the small cit y of Treinta Y Tres, the combined tour of the expansive and tranquil Uruguayan countryside and the beach city of Punta del Este, will give you a great time and an all rounded feel of the Latin American country of Uruguay.
We start out with a trip to the colonial style Uruguay estancias (ranches). Here you will travel back in time to interact with Gauchos (Uruguayan cowboys), enjoy horse riding, cattle herding, fishing, tasting the different traditional foods, and much more. Then proceed to one of Latin America’s best-kept secrets, the seaside resort city of Punta del Este (Punta). Walk along miles of beautiful, pristine beaches; join wealthy, world famous celebrities and politicians in the casinos, discotheques, and other entertainment spots; marvel at the unpredictable yet exquisite architecture of Punta.
A Sample schedule of the Best of Uruguay Adventure program is as follows:
