We offer volunteer placements abroad in many projects and programs in several countries of Central and South America.

Our Latin America Programs

Volunteers in South and Central America can combine your volunteer abroad placement with our Adventure, Spanish or Portuguese Survival, or the Language and Culture program. Through the language, culture and survival programs you have an opportunity to learn the basics of Spanish or Portuguese languages. This will help you find your way around the countries and work effectively in Central or South America.

In addition, you can sign up for our gap year, internships or group overseas placement in South and Central America.

Our Latin America Projects

International Volunteer Travel offers a wide range of overseas volunteer projects to choose from in Central and South America. Internship placement projects include, teaching, working with children, working with HIV and AIDS infected people, medical and healthcare work, nature conservation, community development, etc.

When Could I Start?

South and Central America Volunteer and internship programs starting dates vary but we have two starting dates each month.

Generally, volunteer and internship programs in Latin America begin on the second and fourth Monday of each month.
