Wildlife Programs Abroad

The International Volunteer Travel Wildlife Volunteer and Internship Programs in a number of countries and we continue to expand the program into other countries. These programs provide study abroad students, overseas interns and volunteers, an opportunity to work with wild animals and plants in some parts of the world.  The program lasts for 2 to 8 weeks and includes placements in jungles, national parks, game reserves, game reserve buffer zones, etc.   Normally you will work with community groups, researcher, wildlife managers and/or tour operators to conserve wildlife such as lions, turtles, elephants, monkeys, butterflies, etc. You will also work to conserve wildlife habitats, study and document wildlife living habits, guide tours, feed orphaned animals, develop wildlife-human conflict resolution strategies and avenues, etc.

What Is Provided

In addition to regular amenities provided by other programs, such as airport pickup, communication, and coordination, the Adventure Holiday program provides accommodation in tented camps, host homes, or economy hotels, often accommodation is shared and sometimes a sleeping bag is required; two to three local meals (including packed meals and vegetarian diet).

You can combine your Wildlife programs, program with other programs including, volunteer abroad, internships, Spanish Language Study Abroad, Adventure Holiday, language and cultural experience programs, and the Survival Spanish Program.
