Internships Abroad in Ecuador

The International Volunteer Travel offers a diverse array of overseas internships in Ecuador. You can intern abroad in Ecuador to polish your skills, for college study abroad credits, or for high school credits. We offer international internship placement in all our volunteer abroad projects.

There are short-term, long-term and group international internship placements. Internship abroad projects are available in many areas including: Internships with children, teaching, medical Work, and Community Development.

The Internship Abroad Programs in Ecuador can be offered independently or in combination with the Basic Spanish Program, or the Ecuador Adventure Holidays programs. Additionally, we offer Gap Year Abroad in Ecuador and can arrange a Group Volunteer Abroad placement for groups including students and church missions at a discounted cost.

Language Requirement: Where basic Spanish is required, interns can take one or two weeks of our Basic Spanish Program to satisfy this requirement.

Internship with Children in Ecuador

There are a number of projects dealing with children that one can Intern with ranging from preschool to community youth support programs. We offer international internship placement in all our volunteer abroad with children projects. Please click here for information on specific projects.
Spanish Language Requirements: Range from none to basic Spanish.
Minimum Internship Duration: 1 week plus.
Schedule of work: Mondays to Fridays; 5 to 8 hours

Teaching Ecuador Internship Projects

Teaching internship opportunities in Ecuador range from working with preschool children to elementary school children. Duties range from teaching English as a foreign language or teaching other subjects to playing with the children during their break time.
