Volunteer Abroad in Ecuador

With its extensive jungles, rolling hills and beautiful and welcoming people, Ecuador, South America, is a major destination for tourists. But Ecuador is also a developing country with many unmet needs among its people. Ecuador is ideal for international voluntary service placement. The International Volunteer Travel program offers short-term, long-term and group volunteer placements in Ecuador, Latin America.

Currently we are offering opportunities for international volunteer placement in teaching, health care, Community Development, community Outreach and volunteering with children.

Accommodation and Meals: South America volunteers in Ecuador stay with carefully selected Ecuadorian host families, in a hostel or apartment, and are provided 3 Ecuadorian meals a day.

Transport: Most projects are within walking distance of home; otherwise cost will not exceed USD 0.5 per day buy local public buses or trolley.

Spanish Language Requirements: Basic Spanish recommended but not required. Ecuador volunteers and interns can acquire basic Spanish skills through taking one or two weeks of our Basic Spanish Program classes.

In addition, Volunteers abroad in Ecuador can also sign up for our Basic Spanish Program, and the Ecuador Adventure Holidays program.
