Health Care Voluntary Service in Ecuador

International Volunteer Travel partners with a Non-Governmental Organization in Ecuador that provides weekly medical care to communities in the South of Quito.

As an overseas medical volunteer (nurse, doctor, dentist, laboratory technicians, etc),you will work with local staffin support of the health care efforts. Generally you will assist and support the nurses, doctors, dentists or clinicians in the normal routine of medical work e.g. taking vital signs, dressing wounds, taking patients history and keeping medical records, medical laboratory work, surgeries, etc.

As a volunteer, your level of exposure in terms of what you are allowed to do will depend on your prior experience and qualification, plus your demonstrated ability to perform tasks. You will find our medical voluntary work opportunity enlightening and rewarding.

Other Requirement: Applicants must be licensed Professionals (nurses, doctors, dentists, lab technologists, etc) with proof of licensure.
