Village Life Voluntary Placement in Ghana
As a volunteer in village life, you will experience traditional, old-fashioned rural village life in Ghana. In the midst of beautiful scenery, you will be living in a quiet place with very little outside influence. Travel back in time and experience African life in a very basic setting as if you were living centuries ago.
There are no set duties or job description for international volunteers in this program. The main purpose is to experience isolated village life, interact with locals and join the host family in their cocoa plantations, grazing farm animals, and ploughing with oxen. Observe village life and government in traditional Africa; participate in routine Ghana village activities including dances, village meetings with the king, communal work, etc.
Combination of Programs
In addition to Volunteer placement in Ghana, the International Volunteer Travel also offers opportunities for Internships Abroad in Ghana, a Language and Cultural Experience, and Ghana Adventure Tours and Holidays. We have placement for individuals, Gap year students and discounted offers for groups of volunteers wanting to be placed together in our Ghana projects.
