TestimonialsNature and Reforestation Volunteering
Do
you desire to save nature? You can effectively do so
by signing up for reforestation work abroad in the most
beautiful central American country of Guatemala Deforestation
and land use change largely a result of the clearing
of land for cattle ranching and agriculture are some
of the major environmental issues facing Latin America
in general and Guatemala in particular.
As an international volunteer some of your placements will
be with organizations that are
working towards protecting the environment and also promoting
environmental consciousness among local people. Overseas
volunteers will
work at the nursery, collecting seeds, filling
soil bags, weeding the seedlings, planting and raising trees
of local species such as alder, cypress, pine and eucalyptus.
