Like most of Latin America, Guatemala has experiences a significant lack of elementary

Your voluntary service will be highly appreciated and fulfilling to you as a volunteer or gap year student.
You
can choose to volunteer abroad at a primary (elementary)
school at a village in Cabrican some 45km
(28 miles) from Xela where living is very
country; or volunteer at a Secondary (high)
school in Xela where living is more urban,
at least by Guatemala standards.
