TestimonialsVolunteering Abroad in Kenya
Kenya
is well known for its international award-winning athletes,
wildlife safaris, archeological sites and more. These attractions
aside, Kenya has a rich cultural, ethnic and religious
diversity with more than 42 major ethnic communities. As
a developing country, Kenya is in need of volunteers to
support communities in various sectors of development.
The International Volunteer Travel provides opportunities for short-term, long-term and group volunteer placements in Kenya. Currently areas of international volunteer placement available in Kenya include: Teaching; working with Children; Dental and Medical Care; HIV/AIDS volunteer and Care; working with domestic animals and working with wild animals including lions and elephants.
Combination of Programs
In addition to Volunteer placement in Kenya, the International Volunteer Travel also offers opportunities for Internships Abroad in Kenya, the Language and Cultural Experience, and the Kenya Adventure Tours and Holidays program. With exception of the Language and Cultural Experience, which must be combined with another program, all Kenya programs are offered independently or in combination.
