Registration Fee

A non-refundable registration fee of USD 349 must accompany your application. We guarantee you placement in your first two choices and your first two countries and will refund your registration fee if are unable to provide you placement as indicated.

Combining Peru Programs

In addition to taking a program separately, you can also combine programs. You can combine Volunteer Peru or the Peru internship placement with the survival Spanish language study, or the Adventure Holidays. To do so, just contact us for a price quote or select the programs in your application and we will give you a quote.

What Fees and Costs Cover 

Logistics: airport pickup and drop-off, communication, program information, finding and organizing projects, Peru office expense (utilities, salaries, maintenance, office rent), coordination, and donation to projects, first commute from offices to project, project supervision.

Food, Accommodation: Accommodation with host family, 3 local Peruvian meals per day depending on project and including vegetarian meals with prior arrangement; laundry.

Spanish Language and Culture:  For participants, 2 hours of classes per day for 4 days; teachers, associated tours, meals and accommodation as above. This program covers a separate week, normally the first week.

Free Spanish Classes: Free Spanish classes, 2 hours per day for a maximum of 2 weeks. The free classes take place concurrently with volunteer placement. No separate week. You need to register for these classes before arrival in Peru if you wish to access the classes.

Peru Adventure Tours: For participants, logistics as outlined above including transport, 3 meals per day, accommodation in standard hotels, gate fees to covered events and sites.

Insurance: Comprehensive Health and Travel Insurance provided.

Costs Not Covered

International travel; drop off at the airport; airport departure fee (USD 35); private in-country travel, visa fees; special diets (other than conventional vegetarian); transport to and from work daily. Some projects are within walking distance of home. Others require bus transport at about USD 2.00 per day.

Miscellaneous Expenses: personal expenses such as laundry, toiletries, leisure, gifts, bottled water, soft drinks and alcohol, and costs associated with private or optional travel/events.
