Beach Resort Holiday program features 4 days of
beach resort relaxation at Latin America’s best
seaside resort city of Punta del Este. Punta
(as it is often called) is known for its miles of
beautiful, pristine beaches, and the wealth of its
summer visitors. In the summer (December to March)
the town’s population swells from a few thousand to
half a million. It is a favorite destination for wealthy
celebrities and politicians from around the world.

A Sample schedule of the Uruguay Beach Resort Holiday program is as follows:
Day 1: Arrival and pick up from the Carrasco International Airport (Airport Code: MVD) in Montevideo, Uruguay. Transfer to hotel and rest. Day 2: Orientation. This entails about a 2-hour discussion. Topics covered at orientation will include Uruguayan culture, history, customs, politics, geography, and necessary travel precautions, do’s and don’t’s. Afternoon is free for exploring the city of Treinta Y Tres. Day 3 –6:: Punta
del Este Beach Vacation Day 3: Leave Treinta Y Tres by road arriving at Punta in the afternoon for a guided tour of the city taking note of important spot you could visit during the next two days. Marvel at the unpredictable yet exquisite architecture, mixing many styles from traditional to modern. Walk on un-spoilt coastline, or tour one of the city’s forests. Day 4 - 5: Punta del
Este Resort City Tours The city port is another one of the favorite places to visit; complete with vantage points, Italian light fittings, English benches and an outstanding wooden footbridge on the sand dunes that allows the access to the beach. That aside, the city is rich in cultural activity and you can enjoy a wide variety of cinemas, theatres, casinos, discotheques, musical shows and parties that go on all year round. Punta attracts many young people with its’ excellent nightlife. In this city that never sleeps, there’s always something for everyone. Don’t forget to sample
the cities world-class restaurants
for quality international
and national cuisine and
visit shopping mall. Day 7: Uruguay Volunteers
and Interns leave for
project early
in the morning after
breakfast. Introductions
held with project staff. |
